Billions of fake products seized in Bulacan

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Saturday has seized an estimated billions of pesos worth of assorted counterfeit products in Guiguinto, Bulacan, Philippines News Agency said.

Also according to a report on Unang Balita on Monday, the BOC confiscated fake shoes, shampoo, soap, cigarettes, and medicines. Authorities also found imported manufacturing machines and equipment.

Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon with agents of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS) inspected the warehouses inside the Richard Isagani Sandy (RIS) 5 Industrial Complex located in Tabe, Guiguinto, early morning of June 17.

Authorities are still investigating the people behind the fake products, who may face charges of violation of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines.
